Republic Services will pick up trash Monday

BROOKSVILLE –
Republic Services (Seaside Sanitation) will be providing trash collection service on Monday, Jan. 16 even though it is a holiday.

People with Monday as their collection day should have their trash out. Republic Services observes the same holidays as the county landfill which, for 2012, are Wednesday, July 4 (Independence Day), Thursday, Nov. 22 (Thanksgiving) and Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas)

Meanwhile, all Hernando County government offices will be closed Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

All county offices will reopen on Tuesday.
