County, city offices close for Veterans Day

In observance of Veterans Day, county and city government offices will close Monday and reopen Tuesday. Banks will also be closed, and there is no mail delivery.

The Hernando County Solid Waste Management facility will remain open. The east and west solid waste convenience centers are always closed Mondays.

Republic Services will provide trash collection service Monday.

For people who live in the city of Brooksville, Monday garbage pickups will be Tuesday. Regular Tuesday pickups next week will be Wednesday.
