Wanted drug suspect found in Spring Hill
SPRING HILL Deputies said the 11th and final suspect in Friday’s drug sting was apprehended three days later at one of the houses they raided.
Timothy Jerome Smiley, 21, was arrested Monday night after a deputy responded to an anonymous tip about a wanted person at 1256 Hanover Court, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Smiley was wanted on charges of possession of crack cocaine with the intent to sell, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday morning SWAT members raided three houses – the one at Hanover and two more in the 7100 block of Logan Street.
Ten suspects were arrested and the sheriff’s office contacted local media outlets to notify them that Smiley was still at large.
Additionally, 38 pit bulls were seized by Hernando County Animal Services.
A message left with an Animal Services supervisor was not returned Tuesday.
One of the 10 suspects arrested Friday had another charge added to his arrest after a records check showed the 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle found in his garage was stolen out of Pasco County, deputies said.
A witness said Evan Michael Dubman, 21, had told him he had a friend steal the motorcycle and give it to him in exchange for $150, according to an arrest affidavit.
Dubman refused to speak to authorities about the motorcycle.
Also arrested Friday were Collins Smiley, 21, Kendrick Smiley, 18, Jasmine Lee, 21, Kevin Moss, 23, Cynthia Tolbert, 21, Michael Nazario, 20, Danielle Marenghi, 21, Amber Sansone, 31, and Keltwon Newberry.
All of them were booked on various drug charges. Several types of illegal and prescription drugs were found at the houses, deputies said.
Smiley was transported Monday to the Hernando County Jail and held without bond.
