Vice Unit and SWAT Team Execute Search Warrant
The Hernando County Vice and Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 460 Hale Avenue, Apt. 31, in Brooksville on 10-21-15. The search warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation where undercover operatives were able to purchase illegal narcotics from the residents, Eugene and Francina Early.
Upon arrival at the residence, SWAT Team members and detectives encountered eight subjects inside the apartment and an additional three outside.
Pursuant to the search, detectives located 14.11 grams of crack cocaine and a misdemeanor amount of marijuana. Numerous syringes, baggies, smoking pipes and scales were found within the residence.
Detectives made contact with Zachary Zelensky, who was one of the subjects outside the residence. He was found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a concealed weapon. Further charges are pending on Zelensky.
Eugene and Francina Early were both charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Structure for the Purpose of Selling Controlled Substances, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Eugene Early was also charged with three counts of Sale and Possession of Crack Cocaine, from the previous undercover transactions. Francina Early was charged with Sale and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

– Francina Early B/F DOB/01-08-1974
– Zachary Zelensky W/M DOB/03-28-1978.
Eugene Early started his drug dealings in 1982 with Sale and Possession of Marijuana. He progressed over the years to violent crimes and more dangerous drugs, as seen in his last arrest of Cocaine Distribution. His criminal history shows 18 Felony and nine Misdemeanor convictions.
