Brooksville Marine Corp League Detachment 466 visited Salishan Independent Living Facility to honor veterans who have bravely served their country. Sponsored by HCH Hospice, soldiers and their families gather to pay respect to those that have served bravely for their country. Emerson Gallup played Taps for the crowd. David Widell, CEO of Salishan has proclaimed that any vet or retired soldier who wishes to live with his or her peers will receive a $5,000 discount on their first year. Widell said, ìhe feels it’s a small token of his appreciation for these amazing men and women who have sacrificed to make our great nation safe for us to live peacefully.î DOROTHY FAMIANO
