Two arrested in Pasco shooting case
SPRING HILL – Two suspects in the Saturday shooting on Glenrock Road in Spring Hill have been arrested on charges of homicide.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office responded to 15101 Glenrock Road in Spring Hill around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Kevin Wright, 27, was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point with gunshot injuries, and later died.
Suspects Robert Goodie, 62, of Hudson; and Debra Hostnick, 54, of Spring Hill were arrested in Hillsborough County on Saturday. They were held on no bond, and transferred to Pasco County on Tuesday.
The arrest warrants released by Pasco County show Goodie arrived at Wright’s Glenrock Road home armed and shot Wright in a shed on his property. Hostnick, who is Goodie’ ex-wife, was identified by a witness as an accomplice who fled with Goodie in a 2010 Kia Soul.
Pasco Sheriff Public Information Officer Doug Tobin previously told Hernando Today the shooting was believed to be an isolated incident.
Deputies believe Goodie and Hostnick were involved in a dispute with Wright over money.
Pasco County court records show Goodie was charged with careless driving in December 2012, and had his adjudication withheld in 2005 on misdemeanor charges of obtaining property with a worthless check.
Hernando County court records show Hostnick has been found guilty of retail theft, failure to appear, possession of paraphernalia and DUI in the past.
