First Presbyterian to hold luncheon
BROOKSVILLE First Presbyterian Church will hold a “pay if you can” community Thanksgiving luncheon at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the church located at 250 Bell Ave. Proceeds of the event will go to “Growing the Family of Faith.” For more information, call 352-796-4228.
Dinner at Jerome Brown Center
BROOKSVILLE City of Brooksville Parks and Recreation will offer a free community Thanksgiving dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at the Jerome Brown Community Center located at 99 Jerome Brown Place, off Darby Lane, adjacent Tom Varn Park. Christian Life Assembly of God, Jesus and Me Ministry, Love Your Neighbor and Christian Church in the Wildwood, in conjunction with the City of Brooksville, have partnered to offer this event. Oak Park to hold dinner
BROOKSVILLE Oak Park Apartments will hold its third annual free Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, at the apartments located at 460 Hale Ave., between Hale and Daniel avenues, off U.S. 41. Menu will include turkey, dressing, baked macaroni and cheese, potato salad, greens, rolls and dessert. Dinner will be served until the food runs out; plates will not be limited. Church of Jesus Christ to host dinner
BROOKSVILLE True Holiness Church of Jesus Christ will host a free cooked Thanksgiving dinner from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, in the banquet hall of the church located at 15500 Wiscon Road. Elks Lodge 2582 to hold dinner
BROOKSVILLE Elks Lodge 2582 will hold a Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, at the Lodge located at 14494 Cortez Blvd. A full menu will include ham and turkey with all the trimmings plus dessert.
