Sheriff’s office: Woman steals headphones, violates probation

SPRING HILL A Hernando Beach woman under arrest on charges of retail theft Monday had her bond revoked after law enforcement learned she was on felony drug probation.

Trisha Lyons, 27, is believed to have taken a pair of gaming headphones from the Walmart at 1485 Commercial Way, and returned them for $74.51 of store credit.

Lyons admitted to taking the headphones after being taken into custody, and is being held on no bond at the Hernando County Jail.

Court records show Lyons was adjudicated guilty of drug equipment charges in December 2011, and had her adjudication withheld on a cocaine possession charge, and sentenced to two years drug offender probation.
