Owner of used car dealership facing drug charges
BROOKSVILLE – The owner of used car dealership 5 Star Auto Sales and Repair, based principally in Spring Hill, was arrested Sunday night on two drug possession charges, deputies said.
Deputies say Bruce Allan Peach, 55, of Caliquen Drive, was under the influence of alcohol and interfering with a potential crash investigation at Caliquen Drive and Grand Entrada Boulevard.

Deputies asked Peach “several times” to stop talking to one of the parties involved in the potential crash, according to an arrest report.
“I then requested (Peach) move to the other side of the street due to his intoxicated state,” the report shows. “I attempted to help him to his feet at which time he pulled away and (said), ‘I ain’t going nowhere.”
The deputy placed Peach under arrest and in the backseat of the deputy’s patrol car, the report shows.
The report states the deputy saw Peach moving back and forth in the seat, and after the deputy removed Peach from the car, found a pill and a half of Alprazolam and the same quantity of Oxycodone.
Peach refused to say if he had a valid prescription, so he was taken to Hernando County Jail, according to the report.
Peach was charged with resisting an officer without violence, possession of Alprazolam and Oxycodone without a prescription, as well as a DUI traffic offense, jail records show.
The arrest report shows Peach was held on $4,500 bond.
Florida Division of Corporations records show Peach as the active registered agent of B&T Enterprise Services, Inc., also 5 Star Auto Sale and Repair.
The company has a second 5 Star Auto Sales location at 790 Providence Blvd. in Brooksville, according to their website.
