Mossgrove gains chief fire officer status
Brooksville Fire Chief Timothy Mossgrove has successfully completed the process that culminates in his professional designation of chief fire officer. He is one of 787 CFOs internationally and one of 90 in the state of Florida who have achieved this professional development honor and designation. The presentation was conducted by Chief Derryl O’Neil, fire chief of Minneola, a longtime friend and colleague of Mossgrove’s.
Mossgrove joined as a firefighter in the city of Brooksville in June 1986, relocating to the area from Wellsburg, W.Va. He was promoted to the position of fire chief in July 2006.
