Man stabbed at Hernando Beach home

An altercation between two men early Sunday morning at a Hernando Beach home ended with one of the men being stabbed, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

Neither man involved in the stabbing at 4520 Bimini Drive in Hernando Beach has been identified by authorities.

The man who was stabbed was transported to a bay area trauma center for treatment of his injuries. His condition has not been released. While no arrest has been made, the incident remains under investigation.

According to the Hernando County Property Appraiser’s website the home is owned by Rick D. Freeland, one of two homes he owns in Hernando Beach.
