Man pulls gun on neighbors over fireworks
SPRING HILL – Ralph Brady Gordon, 51, was arrested on three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm just before 2 a.m. Thursday after threatening his neighbors with a gun.
An arrest affidavit shows three victims were setting off fireworks in the back yard of their Lamont Drive home around 12:20 a.m. when they heard Gordon swearing at them about the fireworks and banging on the fence.
When the victims left the back yard to see who was banging on the fence, they saw Gordon standing on their lawn and yelled at him to get off their property.
Gordon went back to the street, removed a gun from his vehicle and pointed it at the victims.
Gordon eventually left and returned to his home on Landfair Street.
When Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at his home a short time later, Gordon admitted he went to the Lamont Drive house with a gun.
Gordon is being held at the Hernando County Jail on $15,000 bond. Court and jail records do not show Gordon has been arrested in the past.
