Man arrested for meth manufacture
MASARYKTOWN – Forrest Lee Devane, of 127 Rabbit Hollow, was arrested on multiple drugs charges on Tuesday, including methamphetamine manufacture.
When deputies responded to Devane’s home looking for a wanted person, they saw a electric meter box that had been altered.
Devane said his power had been shut off, and a friend helped him “tamper(ed) with the meter and electric service.”
Devane allowed law enforcement to search their residence, and deputies found several items used for cooking methamphetamine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. He admitted to cooking meth the night before.
The 44-year-old was arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft of services.
He is being held on $27,500 bond.
