Free Community Cookout to Celebrate Parks & Recreation Month

The City of Brooksville’s Parks and Recreation will be hosting a FREE Community Cookout in Tom Varn Park (301 Darby Lane, Brooksville) this Saturday, July 11th, from noon until 2:00 p.m. to celebrate Parks & Recreation Month. Bring the family out to enjoy the park, sunshine, food and drinks, popcorn, sno cones, games, bounce house, a DJ, and much more. The City Council and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will be dedicating the new pavilion as the “Jimmy Brooks Pavilion” at 12:30 that day as well.
