Five arrested after search warrant served at Brooksville home
BROOKSVILLE – Five people were arrested Friday after the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at 6064 Kurt St. in Brooksville.

Law enforcement began investigating the location after receiving complaints of drug activity, the sheriff’s office said Monday.
Ashley Magbee, 27, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia. She was held in lieu of $5,500 bail.
John Magbee, 55, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and later released on $1,000 bail.
David Peepers, 30, was arrested on a possession of drug paraphernalia charges and was being held in lieu of $500 bail.
Brian Niles, 24, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia. She was being held in lieu of $5,500 bail.
Sandra Ferrin, 31, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was being held without bail due to two warrants of violation of felony probation and a writ of child support.
The Florida Department of Children and Families took custody of a child in the home when law enforcement arrived, according to the sheriff’s office.
