Find Heroin in Spring Hill
On 01-05-16 Vice and Narcotics Units worked closely with Patrol Deputies and K-9 to facilitate a traffic stop on a 2016 Dodge Dart near the intersection of Barclay Avenue and Angelfish Way in Spring Hill.
The driver of the vehicle was found to be driving on the roadways, knowing that her driver’s license was suspended. Michelle Padurano was cited for DWLSR.
During the traffic stop, K-9 Deputy Brandon Cox and K-9 Judge conducted an exterior search of the vehicle. K-9 Judge gave a positive alert to the presence of narcotics.
An interior search of the vehicle revealed several items related to narcotics. A metal spoon was located on the floorboard of the rear passenger area – residue on the spoon tested positive for the presence of heroin. A glass smoking pipe containing residue was located under the front passenger floorboard – the residue tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine. An open syringe was on the floorboard next to the spoon. A small white zippered case was also located in the rear passenger area. The case contained small Ziploc baggies – one baggie contained residue that tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
One of the other occupants in the vehicle stated that these items belonged to Rosaria Bucaria and Amaury Yusbel Colarte, both occupants of the back seat of the vehicle.
Post Miranda, Colarte, admitted to deputies that he purchased heroin for $1800 earlier in the day and just prior to the traffic stop, he encouraged Bucaria to hide it on her person. Colarte made statements to detectives that both he and Bucaria were “shooting up” heroin prior to the stop.
Colarte is a documented gang member.
Post Miranda, Bucaria denied using any narcotics and denied any of the items located inside the vehicle belonged to her.
During a search of Bucaria’s person inside the Hernando County Detention Center (booking process), she was found to be in possession of a baggie containing a tan, powdery substance. The substance tested positive for the presence of heroin. The baggie and substance weighed 18.31 grams.
