Fall arrives with pleasant weather for the weekend

Fall is really, really here.

The rain is gone and a cold front has passed the Tampa Bay area, bringing pleasant weather with mostly clear skies for the next several days.

Temperatures today will be anywhere from five to 15 degrees lower from a day earlier, depending on the locale.

The National Weather Service calls for highs today in the 80s in the region. Lows will be in the 60s in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, the 50s in Pasco and high 40s in Hernando.

Little to no rain is in the forecast through Monday, “making for a very pleasant weekend and start to the workweek,” the weather service says.
