Drugs, weapon recovered from Brooksville home
BROOKSVILLE – The sheriff’s office served a search warrant at 13355 Sooty Tern Ave. on Friday, arresting four and seizing crack cocaine, marijuana and a handgun.
Law enforcement responded to the residence, in the area of Centralia Road, west of the Suncoast Parkway, and recovered 8.99 grams of crack cocaine, 3.9 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a loaded .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
Otis Richardson, 34, was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as nearly 10 warrant s on charges including sale of cocaine, grand theft auto and resisting an officer.
He was booked on no bond “due to his history of fleeing, resisting and escape,” according to the sheriff’s office.
Fredrica Williams, 33, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and is being held on $1,000 bond.
A juvenile was booked on possession of marijuana and paraphernalia charges and released to a family member after being booked at the jail.
An additional suspect was arrested after the search warrant was served. Randolph Stevens, 47, was booked on a warrant as principle to sale of crack cocaine and for two counts of possession of a conveyance for sale of crack cocaine. His bond is set at $50,000.
