County to get new Golden Corral, Dollar General
Spring Hill residents should soon see the new Golden Corral going up along U.S. 19.
The building permit has been issued and the company is now ready to begin construction on the new 7,567-square-foot restaurant at the corner of U.S. 19 and Plyna Street, north of the Lowe’s Home Improvement store.
The all-you-can-eat buffet eatery, headquartered in Raleigh N.C., used to have a location in Spring Hill. In the 1990s, it was in the building now occupied by IHOP. There is only one Golden Corral currently in Hernando County, located along Broad Street in Brooksville.
The chain has about 500 restaurants in more than 40 states.
