BPD: Five arrested for Southern Hills burglary

BROOKSVILLE – Brooksville Police have arrested five men believed to have burglarized the Southern Hills Plantation club house early Friday morning.

A police investigation found Eloy Ramirez, Marcus Waddy and Andrew Zabriskie – each 18 years old – and two minors entered the building through an unlocked door, sprayed two fire extinguishers, knocked over a water cooler and took t-shirts before running back to their vehicle. The group fled in a black SUV, which was later stopped by police.

Ramirez, Waddy and Zabriskie were booked on charges of burglary of an unoccupied structure. All three have been released on $3,000 bond.

The two juveniles were arrested on the burglary charges and released to their parents.
