Spring Hill man booked on indecent exposure charge at park
SPRING HILL A 28-year-old Spring Hill man was booked at the Hernando County Jail on Sunday evening after exposing himself to a woman and her two children at the Anderson Snow Sports Complex.
According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, the victims were walking back to their car from the playground when they saw Adam Justin Griffith sitting in his car, exposed and fondling himself.
The mother put her children in the car and called law enforcement. While in the car, Griffith approached the driver’s side door, still exposed, and said “Damn girl, you’re fine. Do you have a man?”
Jail records show Griffith was booked on battery and trespassing charges in February, and court records show the state later dropped the charges.
Griffith was found guilty of exposing his sex organs in 2010, and was ordered to pay about $400 in fines for the misdemeanor charge, according to court records.
Deputies took Griffith into custody a short time later, and he was booked on two counts of lewd and lascivious indecent exposure. The man bonded out for $30,000 early Monday morning.
