Hernando County Career Fair approaching

The 2014 Hernando County Career Fair, featuring two days of events for job seekers, takes place April 2-3 at Pasco Hernando State College’s Spring Hill Campus, in the Building B conference center, 450 Beverly Court.

Day 1 features free seminars, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m, on resume tune-up, interview prep and skills, transferrable skill sets, representation from colleges on education, and training and social media opportunities. Keynote speaker will be Lee B. Savage, author of “Aim For Jobs” and “Your Complete Job Search Plan.”

Day 2 will be the Career Fair, from 2 to 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Meet your local employers. Dress professionally, prepare for on-the-spot interviews and bring plenty of resumes.
