Man dies in motorcycle crash Saturday in Brooksville

BROOKSVILLE – An Apollo Beach man died Saturday night after flipping his motorcycle on CR-583 north of Blair Avenue.

At 8:07 p.m. Randall Edward Bougher, 50, was headed south on CR-583 and going around a left curve when he lost control of his motorcycle, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

Bougher went of the road and onto the west shoulder where his motorcycle overturned, the report states.

Bougher was thrown off the bike and died from his injuries at the scene, the report shows.

Alcohol was not related, the report shows, and Bougher was wearing a helmet.
