Take from those who make too much

This county is going broke. Families are losing homes, losing jobs, cannot eat but the utilities keep going up. I live paycheck to paycheck, as I am a single parent who doesn’t get child support.

I received a letter from Progress Energy to pay $140 more for my deposit. If I can’t pay the power bill, how do they expect me to pay more deposit?

I work for Hernando County and only make $29,000 a year and have to take furlough days with no pay. I think our Mr. Hamilton should look at us employees who do not make enough to live on and start taking from those who make too much.

I am a hard and dependable worker who should make more than I do, but I don’t complain. The people of Hernando County should stop the complaining and look at what is really going on.

You have no clue.
