Man booked for indecent exposure

BROOKSVILLE –
A Spring Hill man caught with his pants down outside a Boyce Street residence was booked at the jail early Monday morning on charges of prowling and indecent exposure.

According to a sheriff’s office arrest affidavit, Andrew William Dorst Jr. was found “standing on a planter” and trying to look inside a bedroom window.

Dorst was exposed from the waist down, with his pants at his ankles, and had a gray sheet on his head and a rain coat around his waist. He told the responding deputy he was just taking refuge from the rain under a front awning, and that his pants fell off because they were both too small and unzipped.

Jail records show the 38-year-old continued to be held on $1,250 bond Tuesday afternoon.
