Hernando deputies responded to a Patsburg Place residence Thursday afternoon and found the motorcycle being dismantled in the kitchen.

Another motorcycle reported stolen out of Polk County was found in the driveway, deputies wrote in an arrest affidavit.

Brian Klassen, 41, and two other people at the scene said they didn’t know the bikes were stolen.

Klassen later acknowledged having the motorcycle for about a week to test drive it, and said he suspected the bike was stolen because the ignition had been tampered with, Hernando deputies said.

He was arrested on a charge of grand theft auto, and was being held at the Hernando County Jail on $2,000 bail.
