Wanted Pennsylvania man found in Brooksville

BROOKSVILLE – The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Brooksville man wanted in Allegheny County, Pa.

According to an arrest affidavit, Ronald Montesano, 58, was arrested on Aug. 26 on charges of battery, and adjudicated guilty in Judge Donald Scaglione’s court on Thursday. A background check found Montesano was wanted in Pennsylvania on violation of probation for a robbery charge, and he was arrested on the additional charge of being an out of state fugitive.

Montesano, who was living on Cortez Boulevard, is being held on no bond pending extradition.
