Detectives Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect Leaving Store

Spring Hill — On 08-07-15 just before 3 p.m., a white male entered the CVS pharmacy located at 9204 Cortez Boulevard in Spring Hill and proceeded to commit an armed robbery.

Acting on a tip, detectives were already conducting surveillance in this area.

Detectives acted swiftly and took the suspect into custody as he exited the back door of the store.

The suspect is identified as David Lawson W/M DOB/06-09-1979.

Detectives are investigating this individual for a previous robbery similar to this one.
