Bluesapalooza to shut down Hernando Park

BROOKSVILLE – Hernando Park in downtown Brooksville will not be available for general use Saturday and Sunday because it is the venue for the annual Bluesapalooza.

The event is from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday at the park, located on Fort Dade Avenue.

This year’s event features Damon Fowler, Sarasota Slim and Nitro, Barry Oakley and Skylab, RJ Howson and Wendy Rich.

Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children ages 5 to 12. Children under 5 are free. Those attending should bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. No coolers will be permitted. Food and beverages will be sold.
